Hi.

Welcome.

Here you will find my attempt to document my adventures. Good Luck.

Guerrilla Photo Booth

I bought a printer with the idea of starting a mobile photo operation—essentially a mobile photo booth. One day, I decided to make it happen and convinced my roommate to join me on this adventure.

I tasked my roommate with fitting the printer into a backpack while I gathered all the gear for the camera and flashes. With built-in Wi-Fi in both the computer and the printer, it was easy to set up communication between the devices. We put on some nice shirts and set out for Vail Village.

Approaching random people for photos was intimidating at first because, as we all know, nothing is truly free, and people were understandably suspicious. However, the few brave souls who volunteered were rewarded with a wonderful 4x6 picture printed on the spot.

We roamed around, getting to know people and taking photographs. After an hour or so, we had $80 in our pockets, which we used to grab some dinner. The concept was a bit crazy, but seeing the genuine excitement on people's faces when we handed them their printed photos was so worth it.

It was amazing to witness their reactions. It felt like we had done something great. Despite barely knowing what we were doing and using a printer secured in a backpack with cardboard and duct tape, we made it work. It's crazy to think how much effort goes into making something like this possible, but seeing people's joy and excitement made it all worthwhile. That's why I was so thrilled about the whole experience.
